If you're not signed in, attempting to search for devices or execute playbooks will prompt a sign-in. Follow the instructions in the modal to sign in using your Microsoft account credentials. This is required for accessing and managing devices through Entra ID and Intune.
On the Home page, enter the device name(s) or serial number(s) in the search bar, choose the appropriate option from the dropdown next to the search bar (DeviceName or SerialNumber), and click on the Search button. The results will display information about the devices found, including device name, serial number, operating system, and last contact details.
Playbooks are predefined scripts or actions that you can run to perform specific tasks or get insights into your device management. On the Playbooks page, you can select a playbook by clicking on its title. Each playbook has a description and can be executed by clicking the Run button. Some playbooks might have additional options like specifying the number of stale days or choosing an OS for filtering.
In the search results on the Home page, click on the device name of any device listed. This will open a modal window displaying detailed hardware information about the selected device, including manufacturer, model, OS version, compliance status, and registration date.
You can perform bulk actions such as syncing, offboarding, or wiping devices. To do this, select the devices by checking the boxes next to them in the search results, choose the desired action from the 'Select Bulk Action' dropdown, and then click on the Run button. Confirm your action in the popup to proceed.
On the Home page, click on the Upload icon next to the search bar to open a dropdown menu. You can then choose to bulk import device names or serial numbers. Select the appropriate option, and upload a CSV or TXT file containing the device names or serial numbers.
Navigate to the Dashboard page to view key facts and analytics on device management. This includes the total number of devices in Intune, Autopilot, and EntraID, as well as insights into stale devices, personal versus corporate devices, and distribution of devices across different platforms and OS versions.
On the Dashboard page, under the 'OS Versions (Intune)' section, use the dropdown menu to select a platform. The chart will then update to show the distribution of OS versions for the selected platform.
After running a playbook on the Playbooks page, if the playbook supports exporting results, an 'Export Results' button will become active. Click on this button to download the results of the playbook execution.
Yes, on the Dashboard page, there are cards showing the number of stale devices that have not checked in within 30, 90, and 180 days. These insights help in identifying devices that may need attention or troubleshooting.
For each device found in the search results on the Home page, you can see its name, serial number, operating system, primary user, and last contact times with EntraID, Intune, and Autopilot. You can also access more detailed hardware information by clicking on the device name.
Yes, for each device listed in the search results on the Home page, you can perform individual actions such as sync, offboard, or wipe by clicking on the respective buttons in the device's card. This allows for specific device management without performing bulk actions.
The 'Select All Devices' checkbox, located above the search results, allows you to quickly select or deselect all listed devices. This is particularly useful when you want to perform bulk actions on all displayed devices.
The 'Last Contact' information provides insights into the last time the device communicated with EntraID, Intune, or Autopilot. This helps in identifying devices that may not be receiving updates or policies as expected, indicating potential issues.
The 'Bulk Import Device Names' feature allows you to upload a file containing multiple device names, which are then populated in the search bar for a bulk search operation. This saves time and effort when searching for multiple devices simultaneously.
Yes, there is a button on the Sidebar menu called Activity Log that allows you to view the history of actions performed on devices. Clicking on this button opens a modal window displaying the history of actions, including the action type, device name, and timestamp of the action performed.
